Initial Consultation

Prior to starting your exercise on referral journey, you will undergo an initial consultation with a qualified exercise referral instructor. This consultation will be around 20 minutes where you will be asked several questions and your health check may be completed within this time, if your health assessment is not completed in the initial consultation this will be completed in your first session. This allows our instructors to set out a specific program for your needs

Weeks 1-12

Group Gym

At the end of your initial appointment, you may be booked in for the following sessions: Week1, week 4, week 8 and week 12. Session 1 will be where you will receive a programme to work from, while sessions 4 and 8 will be review sessions. These review sessions will be to check on your progress and to help make any changes to your programme. Week 12 is your final review and discharge from the Exercise Referral programme.

You may also be advised to attend specific group activities taught by our EOR instructor team. The best course of action will be discussed with you during your initial assessment.

Your programme will be based on your needs which are identified from your initial consultation.

This is a group session in the swimming pool structured and delivered appropriately to the client’s condition and needs. During your initial assessment you may be referred to Aqua instead of group gym. Aqua is a small group water-based group session which you will be eligible for the first 12 weeks of your referral, similarly to group gym.
