Macmillan Cancer Support are asking you to get involved in Sober October by going alcohol-free for the month of October, to raise money for people living with cancer. 

Every penny raised will help play a vital role in helping Macmillan Cancer Support fund clinical services.

Write a list of reasons why you want to stay sober, this list could include:
to feel healthier, to save money, to improve my sleep.

Tell people

Tell people you are going sober this October, your friends and family can support you during this time and are less likely to suggest social activities that involve alcohol.

Stay busy

Taking part in hobbies and activities can help distract you from thinking about alcohol. Being active is a great way to improve your mood reduce stress and improve your physical health.
