National Walking Month

Discover Hounslow this May!

Walking is a great way to improve or maintain your overall health and this May is National Walking Month! 

We have a huge variety of walks planned out across the month for you to get out and get moving.

It’s a great opportunity to meet friends or take your family on a healthy walk, led by one of our team.

Why Walk?

Just 30 minutes of walking every day can increase your heart health, strengthen you bones, reduce fat, and make you stronger.

It can also reduce your risks of Heart Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Osteoporosis, and some Cancers.

Information about our Walks

Hounslow Well-being Network

Saturdays across the month of May. Step and Stroll at Lampton Park. Volunteer-led walk. Meet outside Lampton Parkside Café to meet the walk leader. To register and for more details click here. Suitable for all including pushchairs.

Bridgelink Centre 

Mondays in the month of May. Walk and Talk group. Walk led by Narinder. Suitable for any ability. Meet at the Bridgelink centre at 10:30am. Finishes at 12 noon. For more information and to register call Narinder: 07719 344 873.

Lampton Leisure walk 

Tuesdays throughout the month of May. Let’s get walking in Brentford! Walk led by Monique. Suitable for any ability. Meet at Brentford Leisure Centre.

Osterley Park Walking Group 

Wednesdays throughout the month of May. Peer-led walking group Suitable for any ability. Meet outside the Stable Yard Café, Osterley Park, Jersey Road at 10 am. All attendees have access to the WhatsApp group for further updates.

Bedfont Lane Community Centre

Mind over Miles Wellbeing Workout.

Join Terri and Leanne for a series of uplifting walks. Suitable for any ability. Meet outside the entrance of Bedfont Lane community centre.  Dates: 16th, 17th and 24th of May. To register and more information.

Boston Manor House

a). Free Boston Manor House to Osterley Park walk. 

Volunteer-led walk. Arrive at Boston Manor House Front entrance at 10.50 am to meet the walk leader. Tickets to be booked through this link.

West London Ramblers: 21st May

Kew to Chiswick. From Snails to Duke’s. A pleasant volunteer-led walk with views across the river to Strand on the Green. Meet up: London side Kew Gardens Station (toilets, shops, cafes) at 2 pm.
